OTOKAI exhibited at the 15th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Dementia Prevention, held at G Messe Gunma from September 11 to 13, 2026.
The theme of this year’s meeting was “Establishing Dementia Prevention Science and an Inclusive Society through Multidisciplinary Collaboration.” The event brought together professionals from a wide range of fields, including medicine, nursing care, and social welfare, to share the latest research, practices, and insights related to dementia prevention.
At our exhibition booth, we introduced OTOKAI, our initiative that aims to support the maintenance and improvement of cognitive function through music and creative activities.

Our presentation focused on:
- An overview of OTOKAI and its research activities
- Findings from previous pilot studies and our ongoing research
- Daily creative activities using the OTOKAI app, combining photos or videos, words, and music
- Features designed to help users continue these activities enjoyably as part of their daily lives
Throughout the event, many physicians, researchers, and professionals working in healthcare, nursing care, and social welfare visited our booth.
While exploring the OTOKAI app and learning about our research, visitors shared a wide range of questions and perspectives on the potential role of music and creative activities in dementia prevention, how such activities can be incorporated into everyday life, and possible future applications.
We will continue to apply the valuable feedback we received to the further development of our research and services, as well as to our efforts to make OTOKAI more widely accessible.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who visited our booth and shared their thoughts and feedback with us.
